My daughter's finally done with her stupid rebellious phase, she's coming home for the holidays.

Don't worry, I don't expect you to be involved, she's an adult and that's...that's not your whole deal anyway. But maybe you could dial down the dickishness just with her. She's having a rough time, and this is the first time she's wanted to come home since she got here.
